A bit about Asha Rehmat.
Asha Rehmat is a Board-Certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
She graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor's in Nursing in 2014 and a Master's in Nursing with a focus in AGACNP in 2021, having started at Delaware County Community College. Her nurse practitioner rotations were in the medical ICU and cardiothoracic surgery at Einstein Medical Center, and in observation, medical-surgical and emergency admitting at Capital Health in Trenton.
Before that came four years as a nurse in Einstein's medical intensive care unit in Philadelphia — a sixteen-bed unit, caring for patients after cardiac arrest, in hypertensive crisis, with stroke, ARDS, COPD or end-stage renal disease, and before and after liver transplant. She managed ventilators and vasopressor drips and assisted at the bedside with central lines, bronchoscopy, lumbar puncture and paracentesis, and worked in the cardiac and surgical ICUs as well. Her first nursing role was at HCR ManorCare in Yeadon, on the transitional care and long-term care units.
She joined the NASPAC family in 2022 and worked in the Willow Grove, PA location through 2023. She is presently working remotely as an NP doing Principal Care Management (PCM) calls for PA and NJ patients.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and volunteering for the needs of her church.
