About

A bit about Dr. Gandhi.

Dr. Fenil Gandhi is a board-certified Family Medicine physician completing advanced fellowship training in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine at North American Spine & Pain Consultants. He cares for patients at our Hainesport, New Jersey office.

His focus is identifying the source of a patient's pain rather than treating the symptom alone — back and neck pain, sciatica and lumbar or cervical radiculopathy, shoulder, hip and knee pain, arthritis-related and myofascial pain, nerve-related pain, and chronic pain that has persisted after an injury or surgery. Care begins with a thorough history and physical exam and appropriate imaging, then a plan built from rehabilitation, non-opioid medication strategies, and interventional treatment when it is clinically appropriate. The goal is not only less pain, but better function and mobility.

Dr. Gandhi completed his Family Medicine residency at Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, Pennsylvania, where he served as Chief Resident. Before residency he worked in clinical research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York; his peer-reviewed publications continue to inform an evidence-based approach to care.

He earned his medical degree (MBBS) from Pramukhswami Medical College in Karamsad, India, and a Master of Health Administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport. Family Medicine training, interventional musculoskeletal education, and a research background give him a broad view of both the clinical and the personal side of living with pain.
