About

A bit about Dr. Gandhi.

Dr. Gandhi was born and raised in State College, PA. He attended Penn State for his undergraduate studies and LECOM for medical school, and completed clinical rotations in the Pittsburgh area. He then finished a residency in anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, and a fellowship in critical care medicine at Columbia University in New York City.

He lived and worked in New York City for 7 years, including several years at the James J. Peters Bronx VA Medical Center, where he proudly cared for veterans undergoing surgical procedures. He completed a Pain Medicine fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in 2018, and has since returned to his Pennsylvania roots, initially with another group, and joined NASPAC in summer 2024 to help build the western PA pain medicine practice.

Dr. Gandhi focuses on a holistic approach to pain medicine, utilizing multiple modalities of treatment including physical therapy, spinal and joint injections, spinal cord stimulation, minimally invasive surgery, and many classes of medications to help his patients improve their quality of life. He is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology with subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine.

In his free time, Dr. Gandhi enjoys playing and coaching baseball and soccer with his son and daughter, traveling with his wife and children, and attending baseball, football, and hockey games with friends and family.
