A bit about Elliott Yodh.
Elliott Yodh is a certified physician assistant at NASPAC's Willow Grove and Paoli offices, working alongside the supervising physician on individualized pain management plans and performing trigger point and joint injections.
He came to medicine by an unusual route. Before PA school he spent three years as a clinical research coordinator in the Neuropsychiatry Section at the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine, running neuroimaging sessions for NIH-funded studies at the Brain Behavior Lab — work that made him a co-author on a paper in the American Journal of Neuroradiology. A psychology degree from Macalester College and a post-baccalaureate in biomedical sciences at Penn sit behind that.
His clinical training since has been deliberately broad. After a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Monmouth University, he spent a year providing acute and chronic care at SCI Phoenix, Pennsylvania's largest maximum-security prison — full histories and physicals, medication management, suturing, skin biopsies and joint injections. A period in wound care followed, evaluating patients in skilled nursing facilities and managing complex wounds alongside medical and surgical specialists.
Fun fact: Elliott enjoys playing the piano and baseball in his free time.
